I'm Chris Solomon. I want to say a quick few words before we get into the podcast with Shane Bacon from Fox Sports.

Shane's going to be working the US Open for Fox on the broadcast doing interviews of the players and I thought it'd be very interesting to have him on to see how he's preparing for the event

What do you think about come on and whatnot? So I think you'll like what is to follow but quickly I want to apologize for the last lack of podcast for the last three weeks or so.

I've been traveling internationally a lot and I had several work priorities to take care of,

but I wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone that is downloaded,

subscribe, rated, reviewed the podcast in iTunes. I honestly had no idea that iTunes

podcast rankings existed until a couple weeks ago when I checked and saw

that this was somehow ranked the 45th ranked sports podcast in the United States

which I was completely blown away by and had I known that I probably would have had a little more

dedication and regularity of this podcast so hoping to commit to that more here in

the in the future as well as potential new podcast announcement here in the very near future.
