I think David and all Old Testament believers knew that the tent of God and the wings of the cherubim over the mercy seat, they were a sign, a pointer to the true house of God where his own would live with him in a life that never ends.

The Word of the Lord endures forever is a daily verse-by-verse Bible study with the church,

past and present.

Pastor Whedon is leading us in a study of the book of Psalms, chapters 42 through 72.

Greetings, people, loved by God. In our previous study, we considered the last six verses of Psalm 60.

David heard God speak in His holiness, and it was clear that he was apportioning out Palestine as his holy land,

starting with two areas in more or less the middle of the land, Shikkim on the west bank and the

veil of Sukhoth on the east. God then proclaimed it all his, Gilead, Manasseh, and Ephraim.
