I'm Taylor. And I'm Tyler. This is Scripture Central's Come Follow Me Insights. Today, Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians.

So let's begin this epistle with one word.

And it's a word that just, it's going to be a gift that keeps on giving with this epistle.

And the word is one.

It's this idea of unity. President Henry V. Iring has spoken about this in general

conference on a variety of occasions. The need for unity and how Christ becomes this great

unifier. That's what his at one meant is centered in, is helping us to become one with a variety of things, with God, with each other,

with all of our relationships. So in chapter one, you're going to find that the oneness is

between heaven and earth. In chapter two, you're going to find that the oneness is between Jews and

Gentiles. In chapter five, you're going to find that the oneness is between husbands and wives,

or these family relationships. But the fascinating thing to note as we get into the epistle

to the Ephesians is it's not just a random disembodied concept of unity. It's actually an

embodied concept in Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the one who is here at the center, and it's only through

him that in all of these areas, we can even hope to find oneness or unity. So here's Paul in Rome,

in prison.

Just keep that in mind as you listen to this very powerful message that's centered on the

on the oneness that we all can experience with Jesus Christ, written by a man who's being

divided and physically separated from people, from friends, and yet he knows what ultimately matters.
