Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your GameMaster.

With our comics episodes all wrapped up, we're moving on to a new event.

Between now and GenCon we will be featuring all new and independent systems

on the show.

And the first of those systems is a popular one from what I gather from the RPG Sub-regidit,

we'll be showing lasers and feelings.

Lasers and feelings designed by John Harper is remarkable for several reasons.

It's elegantly designed with mechanics that both newcomers and experienced veterans will be able to understand easily.

With a split focus between action and interpersonal relationships, lasers and feelings encourages good role play from both players and the game master.

It also features streamlined character creation and story generation tools so players and GMs can sit down and start playing within minutes of picking up the game.

The best part?

It's totally free and the entire system fits on a single sheet of paper.

Lasers and feelings is by far the best Star Trek role-playing system that I've seen,

unless you count the Artemis Starship experience as perhaps some sort of weird video game role-playing hybrid.
