Summary

This week on A Waste of Time with ItsTheReal, we hit the West Coast and caught up with Asher Roth, who took us through an incredible journey of ups and downs as a musician: getting signed by Scooter Braun, hanging out with Justin Bieber, rapping for Jay Z and Q-Tip, releasing a multi-million selling single, the I Love College remix you never heard, the whirlwind of his first album, dealing with label restructuring, tracking down earned money, recording follow-up music with Pharrell, recording more music with Chad Hugo, falling into depression in Los Angeles, and finding his way again thanks to independence and the internet. All that, plus great stories about Puffy, Questlove, Steve Rifkind and more! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. Learn more about your ad choices.
