My name's Brian Sauer, and I am joined by my old-timey friend, Mr. Elric Kane.

0:18.2

How you doing, sir?

0:19.0

I am. I am Three-Strip Elric. The birth of Three-Strip El-Ework. Yeah, no, Mr. Elric Kane. How you doing, sir? I am. I am three-strip, Elric.

0:22.3

The birth of three-strip El-work. Yeah, no, look, this episode will really date how long we've

0:28.3

been doing the show, because people might not notice anymore that we have seasons, but because

0:33.6

it might just seem like it's everlasting and year by year. But in my brain, there's always

0:38.8

been every year as a season. It always has just worked that way in my mind at least. And so every

0:44.6

year we have done a, what we called initially like, you know, cult movies of or undiscovered gems or

0:52.0

whatever the case may be per year starting in the, I assume we did

0:55.6

the 20, did we just do the 2000s first or did we do the 2010s? I think we did 2010s. I can't remember

1:01.8

now. I know we did 2,000s, but I cannot remember if we did 20s. I think we probably did do

1:05.9

2010s and worked our way back. I could be wrong, But that means that we are, every year we have done one of these,

1:12.1

you know, 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s last year. And we are now at the 1940s. And that just tells

1:19.3

you how many years we have been doing the show, which is pretty remarkable. And always one of my

1:24.1

favorites of the episodes we do because, you know, we started out doing maybe like

1:28.1

10 films for some of these because it was so big. And I think we got, you know, we're kind of

1:31.7

getting a little bit more focused in as we get to these more. I feel like a lot of the bigger movies

1:37.0

are very well known from some of the 40s and 50s. And so sometimes they'll come up. Sometimes we'll get some gems, but it's definitely a mixture.

1:44.6

Oh, yeah.

1:45.1

Yeah.

1:45.3

And we've covered various 40s films throughout the history of the show.
