Hello, this is Simon Mann and welcome to a very special test match special podcast on the occasion

of Jonathan Agnew's 60th birthday. Ag has been the BBC's critic correspondent for almost

30 years and in that time he's described some of the most significant moments in the sports history

from World Cup finals to thrilling Ash's drama, Ag has just about seen it all.

Back in 2016, Jonathan was celebrating 25 years in the job and we gave him a bit of a surprise

lunch during a test at Lords. He thought he was handing to Kevin Howles to give an update from

the County Championship, but instead we had a take ready of some of Ag's greatest moments in

the test match special commentary box. I should say in the light of the summer of 2019, we've

added a couple of extra memories into the mix for you to enjoy. He knew this is the tragic thing

about him, he knew exactly what was going to happen. He tried to step over the stump and just

flick to bail with his right hand. He managed to try to do the splits, he had to do the inner part of

his side, must have just removed the bail. He just didn't quite go his leg over. He did very well

indeed, about 131 minutes and hit three falls and then we had Louis playing extremely well

for his 47-lond out. Ag has do stopping. He was joined by De Freitas who was in for 40 minutes,

a useful little partnership there. They put on 35 in 40 minutes and then he was caught.
