Welcome to the podcast and today we're going to be talking about something that I find absolutely fascinating

Now do you know what stoism is or being a stoic?

And the reason why I want to be speaking about this today is because I know many people who listen to this

predominantly, obviously experience anxiety, worries and doubts and fears.

Now, Stoism is ultimately a mindset that allows you to, I would say, get more clarity.

how the mind deletes, distorts, and generalizes our experience. We don't really see it for what

it is, like in a very objective way, we delete so

much information. If we have limiting beliefs, fears, worries and doubts, you're going to delete

certain aspects of opportunities and what's really happening in reality. We're going to distort

information, where it be distorting our own self-image, where it be distorting how we see people or situations.

Of course, we generalize and that is when we go, it always happens.

Now Stoism is a great way of being able to get back to the clarity and to release a lot of stuff which gets in our way. Now, if we think about Stoism, it is a practice

which goes way, way, way back. Even to the point where people like Marcus Aurelius,

Marcus Aurelius, you know, from like the movie Gladiator, right?
