Hi, friend. Thanks for joining me today on the podcast. The world invites us to work hard and achieve

and prove our worth. Society kind of demands we do. The problem is no one can tell us how much is

enough. How many accomplishments or good deeds does it take to offset our blunders in bad days?

We'll find the answer in Ephesians 2 in verse 8, for it is by grace you have been saved through

faith, and this is not from yourselves.

It is the gift of God.

Well, I kept mine in a closet, not so I could hide it, but really so I could see it.

I wanted to see it every day.

No morning was complete without a good gander at this, my cumberbund of accomplishment.

This one's not mine.

Who knows what has happened to mine?

But anybody who has ever had a boy scout merit badge sash

knows the pleasure that comes from earning merit badges.

I swam in order to earn the swimming badge. I rode in order to earn the rowing badge.
