Summary

Zuby is joined by financial advisor, author, and founder of Veritas Wealth Management Chad Hufford. Chad shares his journey from being homeschooled in the Alaskan wilderness to building a thriving wealth management firm after pivoting away from a career in medicine. The two discuss why so many people end up chasing the wrong version of success and how purposelessness fuels addiction and emptiness. They also discuss the importance of living by design rather than default, why contentment is a discipline, and how good financial stewardship is rooted in knowing your non-negotiables.

Up here in Alaska, the other side of the world, we just talked about that a little bit for you, Zubi.

0:35.6

How it was just how the world could be so different

simultaneously for two different people. You're at a nice, comfortable, balmy, 33 degrees Celsius.

0:45.1

We are a minus 30 degrees Celsius right now. And I'm not complaining. I'm grateful for warm clothes.

0:53.2

Heated seats, heated steering wheels, and auto start.

My wife and I decided that we wanted to run a business that could impact a lot of lives, but ultimately we didn't
