recapping the 2023 exo-death hike. If you guys are new to the concept of the

death hike, what that is and what that is looked like in the past, there are links

So an episode 407, Stephen I talked about this year's death hike, what the

plan was, what the route was, what some of the goals were leading up to the

death hike. But today in this episode we are speaking about what actually

happened because things don't go as planned very often in life and especially

with the death hike. So on today's podcast we have four different guests, really

five different participants because Steve was one of them, but four different

segments with Dan, Jory, Justin and Jeff. Two of these guys were new to the

death hike and it was their first experience, which you'll hear about the

other two, Dan and Justin were the only two finishers of this year's death

hike. So we wanted to pull in a variety of different experiences, lessons learned,

things that went well and things that didn't, until the story from different

perspectives. So that's what we're gonna do right now starting off with Dan

Salzman.

Well Dan, to give a listen to some context, just start here, what is your history

with the death hike? I've been doing them since 2018. I missed the second
