The Well is a post-apocalyptic dungeon dungeon diving RPG about a world where humanity

is forced to borrow underground in order to escape undead forces that chase them ever downwards

from the surface of their former world. It's a really interesting take on a

classic adventuring format that provides you with a compelling plot reason to rummage around in old tombs.

The whale is designed to tell tense and suspenseful stories, with a mechanical touch balanced

delicately between getting out of your way when the story needs to be front and center, and providing a rich

and rewarding mechanical experience for when you're into the nitty gritty of game mechanics.

Our session, in typical one-shot fashion, showcases the story and setting before mechanics.

And while I think we give you a great idea of the experience of the game, if you're looking

for mechanical insight, it's best to go out and purchase your own copy. There's a lot to like about the well.

I don't often play dungeon crawlers.

But between the thoughtful setting and really interesting monsters,
