| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to the morning mindset. It is time for us to get our minds aligned with the |
| 0:07.1 | truth of God. Now these last four episodes we've been talking exactly about that issue. What does it mean to set your mind |
| 0:17.3 | on the things of God, on the things of the Spirit, as the Apostle Paul says? And I mentioned in yesterday's episode if you haven't listened to that go back in fact I would encourage you to go back and listen to the last three or four because we've been talking extensively about this issue of setting your mind and what it means and the power |
| 0:36.0 | that it can be for everyday living. |
| 0:39.0 | But I mentioned yesterday that I was going to give you an example, kind of a don't know I didn't say it this way but kind of a |

| 1:24.3 | addressing. The reason I point this out is to just point out an observation. People |
| 1:30.7 | in those kinds of struggles have their minds typically set on the thing they struggle with. |
| 1:40.3 | You see they think a lot about it, right? They think about alcohol, if they're an |
| 1:46.7 | alcoholic. They think about sexual things if they are a sex addict. |
| 1:52.6 | You see what I'm saying? |
| 1:53.6 | Their mind is set on that thing. |
| 1:56.1 | It's something they obsess over, they seek after, |
| 1:58.5 | they pursue mentally before they pursue it physically. It is a mind set. It is a place they |
| 2:09.1 | have chosen either through compulsion or through an active decision of the will to set their minds. |
| 2:17.5 | And that is an example, it's a demonstration of what it means to set your mind. And in this case, I would say it's |
