And I've got a scraggly mutt who somehow receives compliments from strangers about how beautiful she is.

And I'm like, look, we both know she looks like a fuzzy chupacopera, but she's still super cool.

But today is not about those good doggos, as Reddit would like to call them.

No. Today is about those strange hybrid-looking monsters known as Dogmen.

The story I'm about to tell you happened when I was around 11 or 12 years old.

So the year would have been 1999 or possibly 2000.

I live in Central Sweden. My parents had been divorced for many years,

and the day of my encounter, my younger sister and I were visiting our dad at his farm.

He raises slaughter pigs there for one of the country's biggest meat producers.

I've always loved animals, and I enjoyed helping out the farm,

feeding the animals and cuddling with the piglets.
