And this week, Paige made us watch The Black Phone 2.

So, Paige, this recently came to streaming.

I don't know if you saw the theaters, but when was the first time you saw it?

Today.

Yeah, me too.

I waited.

I, in preparation for this, kind of as this movie was coming out, and as we were thinking about when we would do it, a lot of people compared this tomare on Elm Street. And that's not entirely wrong. I was about to say it because I love when this movie goes Dream Warriors. Like that was my favorite part. A hundred percent. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it's wrong. I think that is the closest comparison as far as like what is happening, I guess guess there's a little Friday the 13th in there

too which is nice it's nice to see one of the winter Friday the 13th's recognized do you know what I'm

saying as someone who attended many a winter church camp I have thoughts but more along the lines of

I think comparing this to nightmare on Elm Street makes it seem like it would be goofy.

And it really isn't.

I do feel like the way that they bring the grabber back is consistent with the way the first movie worked, where it's like everyone can talk to you.

Like, you don't get to choose if they're good or bad. Yeah. And I also think this really kind of brilliantly sets up for a franchise. I was thinking of that. In which not every movie would be the same. But I do want it to be just a gradually aging, you know, Finn and Gwen. Yes. Who are like body finders. I don't know. That's probably a job,

but I don't know what it's called. You know, like when the police are trying to locate.

Like cold case detectives. Yeah, cold cases. Yeah, like kind of that. Yeah. But they specialize

in like finding the bodies. But specifically this guy's. Yeah. Well, if you set him up like he was an

Israel Keys kind of guy right
