And great to be joining us for our weekly look at what's been happening in the world of retro gaming and technology.

And of course, chatting to a veteran of the industry in the second half of the podcast. And it's actually quite

nice today to sit down. I've got my big Christmas cozy jumper on at the moment. Got the heating on

in this room as well. I have a break from just going out Christmas shopping and Christmas

parties and all that that goes on this time of year. And you guys are sounding like you're both

dying as well. Yeah. Well, it was my birthday yesterday so um i've had this rotten cold um i'm sure you gave it to me virtually joe down this zoom or whatever just coughing down the mic that's it what software have you been using yeah i've got my antivirus software needs updating i think um but yeah so we went out because it's my birthday for a few drinks.

First ones in a while.

And, yeah, I'm kind of paying the price a bit today. Don't drink if you've got the man flu, I think, is the lesson learned there, which I'm sure I will not add heed to over the next few weeks. But, I mean, it is great. I mean, this is actually our final normal show of the year, isn't it? because our Christmas specials are coming up next couple of weeks.

Yeah, it's the one time of the year that we actually get a week off, which is amazing. And that's

usually over the New Year's period. But first, we have our Christmas specials, which we've actually

pre-recorded. But, you know, you guys are going to find it really exciting because we're doing our Christmas quiz.

Yeah. And I'm hosting this time, which I guarantee chaos on the Christmas quiz. Yeah, I haven't started editing it yet, but I'm giving myself at least a week to do that. Yeah, good luck. Let's talk a bit more about the quiz this year as well then because, I mean, this is in our retro hour tradition. and this will be our seventh one of that we worked out,

where we basically just have a bit of a giggle,

ask a load of questions get a few teams together we've all got secret weapons this year as well and this was I think it's the first time you and I Joe have actually been rivals in the quiz uh yeah because you're always either quiz master or on my team yeah you kicked me off this off this time, didn't you? Yeah, I didn't kick you off. You brought your secret weapon on. You brought Slopes on. Yeah. From Slopes games at Game Room, DJ Slopes, who I was about to say something then, but I don't want to spoil it. But yeah, you brought the Oracle on and, you know, like special guests.
