Let's say you are a supporting actor on the hit TV show Star Trek and you want screen time.

Well, there is nothing scarier than William Shatner.

I wanted to talk about William Shatner because I recently picked up Incubis on DVD out of a bargain bin, or the U section. And I was like, all right, can I find an excuse to talk about this? Well, William Shatner, as a leading man, he really starred in a lot of horror films. And I feel that we get to see them in a pure form in these pictures.

Well, I didn't need a lot of convincing because I was very eager to do a deep dive into William Shatner as actor, specifically in the horror genre, which he's done a lot of,

although it's not the first thing I associate him with.

Are you a fan of William Shatner?

Absolutely.

Now, I will say I've never watched

all of the original Star Trek. I've seen episodes here or there, but it was never one of my things.

I never watched Star Trek growing up. I never really liked it all that much. As a child,

I liked Star Wars because it had a lot more action.

I watched a lot of the next generation because my dad did, but I can't tell you one thing about them. Oh, I watched a lot of Voyager because that was my dad's favorite Star Trek because I

believe was probably playing around the time. Yeah, my dad also loved Star Trek. He saw every

episode of every Star Trek pretty much up to and including Enterprise. And when my dad also loved Star Trek. He saw every episode of every Star Trek, pretty much up to

and including Enterprise. And when my dad was dying of cancer a couple years ago, one of the things

we watched together was the first season of the Shatner Star Trek. So I have fond associations

with it. I've come to like it over the years, but it was never

something that I grew up with.

Shatner, for me, has always been a pop culture figure that I never had that much interest

in.

I probably had the general consensus that people had in the late 90s, early 2000.
