The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 403 of real life ghost stories and I have four spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from October the 10th, 2024.

A few days ago I took my baby to see the Christmas lights display in one of our local

homeware stores. Every year, usually pretty early, they set up a dark tunnel to show off

their Christmas lights selection, and babies tend to love it. After spending a bit of time

there, we came outside and started walking in the direction of home at one point we had passed by a man who seemed to be lifting an unlit cigarette to his mouth again and again but not attempting to smoke it in any way more like an animatronic movement the man appeared to be quite disheveled and out of touch, standing directly facing a fence

with no gate or pathway close by.

I would have normally stopped in to check with the person, but since having my baby, there

have been a lot of random attacks and violence in our town, and coupled with some crippling

postnatal anxiety, making me feel dread and danger at every turn, and coupled with some crippling post-natal anxiety,

making me feel dread and danger at every turn, I'm a bit ashamed to say I walked right past

without saying a word. I noted as I walked past that the man didn't flinch or show any indication

that he was aware of my presence, and did the same with others walking past. It was a fairly busy street.

I walked on for about 20 seconds and as I crossed the road I looked back to check and the man was gone.

Nowhere to be seen. From the location you could see a good distance in either direction. He could

have gone but it was as if he had just disappeared.

Safe to say, I scurried right over to the nearest bus stop where others soon started to gather.
