Yay! Thrill to be here, as always, especially talking about one of my special areas of expertise, often terrible British programming.

That's right.

So we are here to talk about would I lie to you, which was originally a BBC panel show still is still on.

Two team leaders, comic actors, are assigned two teammates for each

episode. The object of the game, such as it is, involves making outlandish statements that members of

the opposing team interrogate in order to determine whether they're true or not. Sometimes the host joins

in in the BBC. It's Rob Bryden. And as with all British panel shows, the points don't matter and the shows are just comedies in quasi-game show form. And the CW's version of What I Lied to You, which premiered last weekend, is extremely faithful to the original, down to the patter as they introduce each round.
