Welcome back to Missing. I am Tim here today with Lance Lance. How are you today?

0:39.8

Doing fantastic today Tim. It's been a great week. We had a couple of really great episodes

0:44.6

of our new show Dark Valley released, which is about the Connecticut River Valley murders

0:49.2

that took place in the 80s, late 70s to the late 80s. But Tim, we have breaking news in

0:56.1

the true crime serial killer world. That's very exciting. How are you? Are you as excited

1:01.4

as I am here? I am doing great. Thanks a lot for asking. Yeah, I'm really excited. There is a suspect

1:07.2

that was just arrested in the case of the Long Island serial killer. And so there's a lot of

1:14.3

victims that span these crimes. But they have arrested a man named Rex Hewerman, 59 years old,

1:23.9

apparently an architect in Manhattan. But it lives in Massa Piqua Park now. And he was just

1:30.8

arrested. And Tim, friends have described him as being organized, friendly, and available. A lot of

1:37.4

people were just taken by surprise by this. He seemed to be flying under the radar as far as his

1:42.3

homicidal tendencies were concerned. But we looked back in our archives of episodes and decided

1:50.3

that it was important to re-release this particular episode with author Robert Colcker. Yeah,

1:56.2

Robert Colcker is a great guy. And we spoke with him a few years ago now back in 2020 about his

2:02.0

book called Lost Girls and Unsolved American Mystery. And it's about five presumed victims of a

2:08.4

serial killer. And these victims were found on Long Island Beach in 2010. And the victims that

2:13.9

Robert Colcker wrote about in his book are Shannon Gilbert, Maureen Brandard Barnes, Melissa

2:20.4

Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Lynn Costello. So we hope you enjoy this interview with Robert

2:27.1

Colcker. And we will be keeping up to date with the news of Rex Hewerman, the man who has been

2:32.7

arrested in connection with the Long Island serial killings. Before we begin today's episode,

2:42.8

you're about to hear a word from our sponsors. These ads make our show possible. However, we do

offer an ad-free version of this show on missing and crawlspace premium. And you can subscribe to
