So let me tell you a little bit more about Erica.

Erica Tiberski is the CEO and co-founder of Sanguena.

And she also has a biomedical engineering background.

Erica and her then partners are just two, her then partner, and still a, are just two of the more than 1.62 billion people

worldwide who struggle with anemia, which is the most common blood disorder. I didn't know that

until I started doing the research. And in 2014, she launched Sanguena, which as I mentioned,

is a health tech company that creates

diagnostics and wellness tools for at-home testing.

So their battles with anemia inspired them to develop affordable and accessible products

for regular anemia screening so that people like them could be proactive about their health.
