Go! Go into your app store right now, and you will have no problem downloading TikTok.

When I tried it this morning, TikTok was the first thing my app store recommended to me.

You can get TikTok. You can use TikTok.

TikTok is going strong. It still has over 75 million daily active users. It's almost like TikTok is

legal, which, if you've been following all the drama the last few months, is pretty wild.

On January 17th, the Supreme Court upheld the law that effectively banned TikTok from app stores and hosting services in the United States.

On January 19th, the app briefly went dark.

Donald Trump took office as president the following day,

and he promptly signed an executive order declining to enforce the ban until at least April 5th.

TikTok returned to Apple and Android app stores on February 13th.

It might be nice if we could all just move on.

You know that Don Draper line and Mad Men?

This never happened.

It will shock you how much it never happened.

Unfortunately, things probably won't go down like that. Instead, there is going to be fallout.

We'll have to live with the Supreme Court ruling, an ugly precedent that could haunt us for many years to come.

There's also the fact that we've just shown the whole world how we no longer care about internet freedom.

And let's not forget that in order to save TikTok, the president is apparently claiming the power
