Summary

James and Jeeyon create Valerian and Other, scions of ancient gods in a dying world. For centuries the world had been in slow collapse with cultures and their gods disappearing making an alarming number of biomes uninhabitable. Now two unlikely cultures have come together to unite their ways of life and gods in hopes that this union might save the world. Can these young scions overcome their cultural differences and consecrate their marriage on their wedding night? 0:48.5	and the effect that has on their world.
0:51.2	It's a far cry from the fantasy adventure role-playing that a lot of people
0:54.8	picture when they picture role-playing. And I'm so thrilled we got it into this collection because
1:00.0	it shows off the true range that role-playing games have.
1:03.7	For this reason though, Gion wanted me to point out that this game is not for everyone.
1:08.4	And in many ways, it's not a game for beginners.
1:11.2	It puts people in an extremely intimate position. It's a lot easier to talk about
1:16.1	swinging a sword at a troll than it is to talk about sex, for some people. And while there are no explicit scenes in this series, it does get a bit steamy.
