So today I want to talk about, we get this often in our DMs of people in new sobriety, but it's still something that I kind of deal with.

And that is like wet blanketness. And by that I mean like you don't drink anymore. And, you know, some people still

drink, but you kind of feel like the mom of the group or like the responsible one or the

wet blanket, like kind of like the fun killer. And I was wondering if you feel that way or did you feel that way?

I mean, I definitely have at times. But I no longer feel like that. There are like certain situations,

obviously, when you're like, everyone's out and you're kind of like, I just want to go back to the hotel and go to sleep.

You know, like for my best friend's birthday, we were in Texas

and celebrating her birthday and everyone was like doing shots and this and that. And I love her,

but I was really tired and I wasn't drinking to keep me going. The drinking is a turn off.

Yeah. Well, it's just like also, it wasn't even the being sober while they're drunk. It's the more I want to go to care. Yeah. You know, we were away and I just really like pushed through, power through.

And like I've had staff my roommate who says that she thinks I'm so much like cooler when I don't drink.
