Is that part of what you do? Yeah, absolutely. So I started out my career as a material scientist.

hydrogen, my friends and family basically thought that I was building hydrogen bombs. So I got

very interested in public engagement and science communication early on to try and dispel the myths that I

wasn't actually building bombs. I was trying to solve the energy crisis.

And then that led me on to everything from stand-up comedy to writing, and it's all pulled together by the idea of storytelling and telling a good old tale about science.
