Brandon Hanson everybody and resident theologian Chad Bird. Hey everybody. Thanks for listening. All right. So Chad, where are we at in the book of Genesis right now. Well, we are going to start with chapter five tonight.

Last week we talked about chapter four,

Cain and Abel, I think we talked about that actually

for a couple of weeks and that covers the first half of chapter four but we're going to skip a few verses and pick up here at chapter 5 and spend probably all 40 minutes talking about the

genealogy that's here and some of the significant folks who are included in that genealogy and what

we can glean from it about the promise of the Messiah and lots of good stuff.

You know, people sometimes will get this idea that they're going to read through the Bible

in one year, so they're all going home and they start out and of
