last week then you didn't know who we are. And if you didn't, you can go listen to that

and find out who we are. But more importantly who are you that's a good question I guess like

anybody else I've got

several hats that I were several vocations that God has called me to several live in San Antonio, Texas, where I work and where I attend Crown of Life Lutheran Church.

I'm a, got a bit of a history with the Old Testament. I've taught Old Testament at its

seminary before in Indiana. I've served as a pastor and so I've spent some time over the years teaching in and really living in the Old Testament.

So I'm looking forward to this chance to talk to all of you and hear back

from you about the Old Testament and in particular how a Christian reads the Old Testament because ultimately

that's really what we want this to be about and it's 40 minutes in the Old

Testament but it's really 40 minutes in the Old Testament, but it's really 40 minutes in the Old Testament as a Christian because there is certainly a distinctly Christian way of reading the Old Testament scriptures. So that's what we're all about. That's a little bit about who I am and

looking forward to delving into the scriptures that testify about our Lord.
