I am a grown man who never read the Percy Jackson books as a kid, but I'm reading now as an adult, and I've now finished two of them. Look at me go. I'm on a quest to determine for this book series has been slept on by society, and I'm not on this quest alone. I am joined by a very special person that comes on this quest and really helps me navigate the waters of what

is going on with Greek mythology because I never took a Greek mythology class in high school or

college. So it's very helpful for me to have her. It is our resident Greek myth correspondent who

still knows stuff about Percy Jackson, so she won't spoil anything accidentally. It's Dr.

Thank you for that introduction. I want that whole title on a business card. Oh, yeah. Just that whole

big lead in. Just Dr. Moyer, you may know me from. Yes. that's what I want. But no, it feels great to be here. I loved these books growing up. I am not a new Olympian. I'm an OG Olympian, and I'm excited to talk about the second book. I'm curious to see what you think of the second book compared to the first. I really like it. Really? Okay. Yeah, I really

enjoyed the book. I think the story was really well told. I do know that there are lots of

similarities and homages paid to the story of Odysseus, which I think is very fun. I liked how

different it was from the first book, so I don't know if I can really compare if I liked it more or less

than the first one. I think what I enjoyed if I can really compare if I liked it more or less than the

first one. I think what I enjoyed is that it felt like I was reading a completely different book,

yet it was still fully in the Percy Jackson world. So it didn't just feel like, oh, here we go again,

just because this one takes place over only 10 days instead of multiple months.

And we've got new characters and it's completely different.

They're barely at the camp.

It feels very different from the first one, but still the same universe where I didn't feel like I was consuming something completely different.

I really enjoyed it.
