Neil was a long-time E.N.T. physician, world traveler, World War II veteran, and truly a great human being.

He was also my grandfather.

He passed away this week at 94 years old, surrounded by friends and family from near and far.

We dedicate today to a celebration of his long life and enduring legacy.

Here's to you, Grandpa. We will always love you and you will remain with us in our hearts.

Episode 38, the Red Cliffs of Chibee.

Last time, we got a better feel for the circumstances of southern China, that is to say China

south of the Yangtze River, and the warlords for who all intents and purposes controlled it.

in as a refugee of war.

Then we had finished up with exactly what Leo Bé had been fleeing from the warlord in possession of the at this point trivial,

Emperor Cheyenne of Han, an uncontested warlord of the entire northern expanse,
