How'd you do this?

You know, I've never told anybody in my story.

When I was 11 years old, life was tough.

Where's mama?

She's gone. She don't want me no more.

And she don't want you neither.

My dad was a monster and I saw God transform him.

I didn't think that God could do that.

And so I wrote this song for my dad.

The reason why we're here, the

utmost of our lives, the highest experience for mankind,

for humankind to have on this planet is to experience the living Lord Jesus Christ.

Once you get a little taste of that, when he begins to reveal himself to you through the pages

of Scripture, I want, Lord, I want fresh revelation from your word. Reveal yourself to me, and you continue to ask him, and he'll do it. And I want you get a little bit of taste for that. That is what I want you do, turn with me to Exodus 34, 28, and then also 29. This is really interesting. And so he was there with the Lord for 40 days and 40 nights. He neither ate bread nor drank water. And he, in this point, this he is God, wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

Notice that it says in 29, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the

testimony in his hand, as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his

face shone because he had been talking with God. Maybe you've heard that story a thousand times.

I've heard it many times myself, but it still is just awe-inspiring, isn't it?
