Today is Thursday, February 29th.

As I enter prayer now, I slow my body and quiet my mind, setting my whole being in the presence

of the living God who is ever present to me.

Recalling the day I've lived, treasuring its blessings as I look into God's face and laying its burdens at his feet. Oh, In his hands are the depths of the, and the mountain peaks belong to him. Abba Father, in this Lenten season of prayer and fasting, I ask that you not only work through my prayers, but work within me, even beyond my prayers.

The laying aside of one appetite with the aid of your spirit gives rise to another.

Toon my taste buds to hunger for your presence, my eyes to see your coming, my ears to hear your whisper, and my

lips to savour your blessings, which are showered upon me each day, even this one. Oh, Read in from Psalm 95. Come. Come.

Let us sing for joy to the Lord.

Let us shout aloud to the rock of our salvation.

That has come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hands are the depths of the earth and the

mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us bow down in worship.

Let us kneel before the Lord Our Maker.

For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture,

the flock under his care. The presence of God was with me in the highs of my day.

The presence of God was with me in the lows of my day.

As day turns to night. in the lows of my day.

As day turns tonight, I create space to recognize that in all things, Christ is with me.

I reflect on the ways he was with me today so that I might stir up a kind of

gratitude for his presence that grows into a desire for more of it. Oh, you know, Holy Spirit, would you bring to mind now the ways you are with me today?
