individually polled that's pretty typical and it can be requested by either side.

The defense typically is going to make every juror say their vote just to make sure no one's

bullied into voting a certain way or whatnot.

They were all polled. You could hear their voices. There was no hesitation.

Sometimes I've been in jury polls where there's like hesitation or clearly someone starts crying and it was a difficult

decision but here it was like yes yes yes and that goes along with how short the deliberations

were but a lot of you guys are asking a question you're saying and that goes along with how short the deliberations were.

But a lot of you guys are asking a question.

You're saying, well, the judge seemed very good,

but then I can't believe he said that he thought

the evidence was overwhelming in favor of guilt. That is fine for him to say because

the verdict has been reached. Once the verdict has been reached by the jury, it's

all done. The jury can talk to whoever they want. can write books they can go on CNN tonight

they could do whatever they want they can talk till the cows come home because

their duty is over and the judge can comment on the weight of the evidence because here's

the thing they're sentencing tomorrow but there's also going to before the appeal there's

probably going to be motions for reconsideration

of directed verdict, all these motions for reconsideration before this particular

district judge before it's even appealed to the next court.
