Hi, friends. It's Courtney and Bailey on the Sol and Witt podcast. Today we're talking about one of our favorite cities, but let's start with our favorite things. So I'm going to start today. This is

Courtney, by the way. My favorite thing in this moment is a hike that I just did this weekend called

Catherine's Pass.

It's in Little Cottonwood Canyon just above Alta in Utah.

And the reason that it is one of my favorite hikes out here, and there are, as you know,

so many to choose from.

The reason it's my favorite is it's good so many different times of year. So in the fall, it's

beautiful. In the spring, it's lovely. And in the summer, you can hike and see the amazing

wildflowers. Now, did I tell you about this hike just from this past weekend that we did?

I think you said it was a little chilly. It was very cold. It was about, I don't know, 23 degrees when we first

started out. And it didn't really warm up much other than the fact that we were working so hard to get up there.

But on the way up, this, these two guys were coming down

and they had gone up to see the sunrise at the top,

but they had to start in the dark.

Yeah.

And I was thinking it would be nice to do

because they said you could see all the stars

and it was so beautiful.

And then Mark said, I'd be worried about like a cougar or a cat or some wild animal coming at you.

Right. And this guy said, well, you'll never see it coming. And I just thought that was such a good

analogy for life in general. So not only was that
