I am really excited to be back to working on my superhero historical Wefare, set in 1820 London. I'm about a quarter of the

way through final edits. I definitely feel like this is my best book yet that it

fulfills my ideals of structure, character, and theme better than anything I've written

so far.

Still isn't perfect by any means.

But the editing load after receiving back all my critiquers comments has been the lightest of any book I've ever read.

So that's been really nice.

The system I use for writing and creating stories has been engineered over a long road of honing and learning and it's exciting to see it

paying real-time dividends. Makes me even more excited for what I might learn in

writing the next book.

what they say, learning to read, that's a learned skill.

But once you pretty much mastered that by fourth grade,

you can read anything.

There's no skill to reading a novel.

What is there to understand?

After all, the writer does all the work,

so the reader doesn't have to.
