Typically we have a guest coming on to talk about their favorite King adaptation, but this one's a little different. different Scott why don't you tell the people why?

Well this this episode breaks the format a little bit. We are approaching an adaptation but it's an adaptation that

almost literally no one has seen. We are here today to talk to Glenn Mazzara, who is the showrunner on the Amazon Prime Dark Tower series that they shot a pilot for this but it didn't

for one reason or another Amazon decided not to take it to Series. We were able to see this pilot and

furthermore we were able to get Glenn to come in and tell us about it and not

only the events of you know the pilot itself and you know there's there's tons of stuff in there

that should be new to our audiences but also for what his plans for the entire series were going to be going forward.

And man, this guy and his team really knew what they were doing, didn't they?

Yep, no, this is going to be a bittersweet listen because after listening to him passionately and not knowledgeablely discuss midworld and everything therein, you'll realize that this guy was the guy to do this.

He was going to do it right.

Yes, this breaks format just a little bit.
