I get a lot of questions.

I get a lot of questions about where I get my seeds so I figured I would do at least a

semi-comprehensive list of the different places that I've gotten seeds from and where I plan to get them from in the future.

So the first one is my friend Bridget Romstead who owns San Diego Seed Company.

And despite the name, her seeds are good for pretty much

anywhere I've done a full tour at her farm and we've done a couple different

segments on saving seed which is really interesting to me personally

although it seems like whenever I talk about saving seed everyone seems to

tune out so I don't do it too much but I do find it pretty interesting anyways she's

great I mean she's amazing it's mean, she's amazing. It's very local. She's actually one of the only certified organic urban seed companies in the USA.

She may still be the only one, but maybe by now some others have popped up I'm not

sure anyways these are the seeds that I like to use because they're local to me

and it's a smaller provider I like to support local I like to support local, I like to support smaller

businesses that are doing something that I really believe in and one of the things

that she's doing that I do really believe in is she is doing a lot as far as

slowly creating cultivars that are better adapted towards the warmer climates like the one that I live in.

We can have trouble growing some of these brassica's, these cauliflowers, these broccoli's, and you know, she's slowly coming up with

varieties that seem to be better adapted to our heat.

Now that being said, you don't have to live in that zone to support San Diego Seed Company.

Her seeds will work in any zone. So that's one I'm going to leave links to
