We have a supersized dynasty episode for you here because we were doing a supersized rookie mock draft. We've been kind of settling in the three round Superflex rookie mock draft rage when we've done these episodes so far throughout draft season. But now that we're just a couple of weeks away from the draft, we're expanding it out. Not only we're bringing on Jake, we're doing a fourth round here of our rookie mock. Again, this is Superflex, as they all have been so far. I will not be making picks. We'll rotate through. Jake will have the first pick. Fitz will have the second, Bogg him the third, and then we'll rotate through over and over again until we get through 48 picks here.

Jake, before we jump in, what do you have going on at the athletic right now?

Slacker time, because this is the time right before the draft, this kind of stuff, updating rookies, talking that kind of baseball is done and ready, although not even so much the

athletic.

I'm just wondering on your side of things, did Fitz not get the message, apparently, to wear something in the light blueish realm today? We just just all happened to do.

He's kind of got it in his background with the betting pros logo there. So a little bit of blue on the

screen. But yeah, Fitz, what gives? Yeah, I was just doing a master's show and I had my master's golf shirt on that was blue. So I just should have left it on. Minutes on that one. Exactly. Well, I screw the masters. Yeah. 18 straight years. I've been trying to get in that lottery and haven't been able to get through to buy tickets. 18 straight. I'm 0 for 18 on that damn thing. Yeah, I'm convinced that lottery is just a ruse and there's not actually anyone who wins tickets on that. My neighbor out here who I'm good friends with actually went to the Rocky's Astros game with just last night. We were talking about this. He did win the lottery and went. And it was whatever year a few years ago, there was some weather issue. And so they like gave him and his dad tickets to go again the following year because part of his year had had some kind of weather, weather issue. I still don't know if I believe it. He's been twice. He has all the gear. He's got the hats and the sweaters and everything. This is like the real lottery. The real lottery is a sham too. That doesn't actually exist. All right. Well, let's go ahead and get started here because we've got some more picks to make the usual. Let's kick things off, Jake. First pick here, like I said, this is Superflex. Feels like you're pretty much just picking between the same two names that we've been doing every time. What direction are you going here? Yeah, and I thought that you set me up for this because I feel like I'm giving Pat a gift at number two because only, only because it's super flex and only because you have the range of outcomes where Mendoza could be Joe Burrow in the one season.

And everybody said Joe Burrow is the one season and maybe Mendoza is the same thing.

I don't think so. But it is super flex. And maybe Mendoza is the same thing. I don't think so,

but it is Superflex and I'd rather err on the side of, you know what, love should be an RB1 right out of the gate. Love should be an RB1 for a couple of years, but we know in Dynasty, the shorter shelf span could end up on a situation where it's like Genty, where your first year isn't even an RB1 because he's on the wrong team for it to happen.

So I'm just going to take, because it's super flex, I'm just going to take Mendoza on the chance that he is a QB1 out of the gate and he does have that upside. Again, I don't believe it, but because it's super flex, that ties the break for me, but like, or breaks the tie if I could speak correctly. If this wasn't super flex, this wouldn't even be a conversation.

Yeah, and not Superflex, obviously, yeah. It's barely even worth, you know, taking five seconds to make a pick like that. Superflex, of course, gets more interesting. We've been going back and forth, Jake, on the show throughout these mocks between Mendoza or Love, kind of depending who has had the first pick in previous

episodes.
