The World Economic Forum was founded in 1971 as a meeting point for leaders from the political sphere, the business sphere, the cultural

sphere. It was designed as a place where they could talk about major issues, right, and

shape global, regional industry agendas. It is in many ways inherently tied to other major institutions of the global economic

order, certainly in terms of narrative and in terms of people's minds. And you can see that

played out in the themes that find their way into Davos each year. So this year's theme is
