on who's a CPA, a CFO, and a really great friend of mine.

He's a deacon here at our church who helps to serve in the area of stewardship.

And I thought I would bring out a resource that helped me many years ago.

I'll never forget the beginning of marriage and how terrible I was with money.

My wife and I were $33,000 in debt with no prosperity gospel offerings coming over the

next hill to bail us out.

And I was not much of a spreadsheet guy back then.

I am now because I've learned that spreadsheets are one of the best friends you could ever

have in life.

And for financial planning, they're very important.

I was miles behind my wife when it came to even just the basic ability to manage my

life, manage my money, or have a plan.

And I had lots of dreams.

I've always been a dreamer, but I had no deadlines.

And you know what they say, goals without deadlines are just that.
