On November 1st, 2007, Justin Gaines, an 18-year-old college student, went out to Wild

Bills, a popular nightclub in Duluth, Georgia.

At 2am on what is now November 2nd, Justin was seen outside the club in the parking lot.

He was in the midst of calling multiple friends trying to get a ride home.

Unfortunately, none of his friends could pick him up, and he was never heard from again.

It's been over 15 years since Justin went missing.

File play is suspected, and investigators are still searching for the people responsible.

Hey everyone, welcome to Detective Perspective.

My name is Derek Lavasser, I'm a former police detective and licensed private investigator.

Each week I'll be covering an unsolved case and story format.

I'll then give you my perspective on the investigation and provide contact information

for the individuals or organizations connected to the case so that if you have any tips, you

This is actually my first episode that I'm recording since Detective Perspective has
