Today we're talking with Emily the Crazy Worm Lady and we're talking about the types of worms she raises and some of their

0:13.9

benefits and downsides. We've talked before, like I said, about how red wigglers are the go-to composting worm,

0:18.4

but there are Indian blue worms, there are African and European night crawlers,

0:22.1

et cetera, and why would you want to choose those over? or African and European night crawlers, etc.

as well as probably a bit of an overview

0:50.8

of what the benefits or the downsides would be to these particular types of worms.

0:54.7

And then later on that episode we're going to get into the type of systems that she uses on a more

0:59.8

explanatory level. I know in earlier episodes we talked about it already, but I'd like to get a little deeper on those as well. So Emily, do you mind starting off with just the worms that you raise?

1:09.0

1:15.0

I have Indian blue worms, European night crawlers and African night crawlers.

1:22.0

Okay, cool.

1:25.0

And so what would be, I know that the red wigglers are the classic composting worm.
