Father God, pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us, to guide us, to help us to encourage us.

Lord, there are people in the room who have wisdom to give, they have life experience,

they have insight that would really benefit others.

I pray that they would be so kind and generous as to share the things that you have entrusted to them.

Each of us, Lord, also has areas of our lives where we need to learn.

We need to grow.

There are things that we don't know, we don't understand, or we keep doing something,

and it's not producing the results that you would have for us.

And so would you please give us as well the humility to receive instruction and correction and

and counsel.

And so Holy Spirit, we invite you as really the source of all wisdom

to bring us wisdom so that we might live lives that increasingly look like the wisest person

who's ever lived. His name is Jesus, and it's in his name we ask these things. Amen.
