The Mets got two hit out at City Field by Max Meyer and the Miami Marlins.

Brett Beatty made an error.

He struck out a bunch of times.

He's the kind of the guy Met fans are looking at saying, bro, enough of him.

And on the Yankee side, they did win.

And Max Fried was utterly brilliant in just his third start as the Yankee

throwing seven scoreless innings.

But they had a 4-0 lead in the ninth inning, and Devin Williams couldn't protect it,

to the point where Aaron Boone had to pull him for Mark Leiter with the tying run on second and two outs.

And luckily, Mark Leiter came in and got Justin Henry Malloy to pop up the Jazz Chisholm.

And the Yankees do win, but there is concern about the Yankee closer coming out of this New York Yankee victory.
