hey did you see that seymour Weiner died?

I did.

And I mean this sincerely.

I think I was unaware of the phenomena of Seymour Weiner, who is a very real person and a sweet old man.

And a hero.

That is correct.

I was going to get to it.

I'm not ignoring Seymour Wiener's accomplishments.

I am only noting that I think the cutest part of, for people who do not know,

Seymour Weiner came to, to fame very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very late in his life,

like last year.

And he was a very long time New York Mets fan.

And before that, by the way, he was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan.

So he goes way back.

And he made news last year when the Mets made Seymour a Wiener, the veteran of the game on opening day.

They do a thing called the veteran of the game.

I think seemingly every franchise in the country does.

But he was the one that they acknowledged on opening day last year.

And as Tom correctly points out, Seymour served during World War II.
