The New Country, 963, second, second, second, second date update. Caleb is on the line with us. He gave us a call. He went out with Barbara, had a great first date. Unfortunately, no second date, and we're going to see if we can help them out. First of all, Caleb, tell us how you met Barbara. So we have been friends since high school. You know, she was always a really cute girl. I never had the confidence to ask her up.

So, you know, years later, I see her again, and I just, I just asked her out. And I watched a couple videos on confidence. And it was this YouTube channel I watched and the mantra was, you know, seize the moment. So I just, I had to know for it. So we had a date. All right. And so. Oh, nice. Okay. Watch some videos, gave you confidence, and you asked her out.

So what did you do on your date yeah so i got a gift card from my auntie and she said use it whenever so

me and her we had decided to go to a restaurant and on the date the gift card was supposed to be $50 but it was

only for 25 so i uh i asked her if she could help me cover the rest of the meal, and she just hasn't called me back. Oh, and because of that, you think it was the gift card situation? I do. I didn't bring anything else on me. I thought I was going to cover the whole day. Oh. What restaurant were you at? Who was she had at Chili? Okay, so when you handed the waitress, the gift card, you thought there was $50 on it and there was only 25. And you said you had no other money? Yeah, yes, sir. I did not plan well. I thought that was going to cover everything. I thought it was going to be just covered on the gift card, yes. Okay. And like Michelle said, you're thinking that maybe that's the reason you haven't heard back from her. Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing. She has not responded to me at all. All right. He's calling this because I guess you guys went out on the first date and he was interested in going out on a second date with you.

Yeah, I mean, we went out and then at the end of the date when it was time to pay, he only had a gift card.

So, well, actually, let me tell you the exact story.

So he only had a gift card.

And, you know, when it was time to pay,

I guess the gift cart wasn't enough to cover, like, the check.

And he, like, didn't even have any money on him, like, not even a dollar. So I had to pay, like, the rest of the balance, and I just thought, I don't know, it was kind of weird that he didn't have, like, not even a dollar. And he couldn't even pay a tip. I don't know. I come from a very traditional family and, like, a man, especially on the first date, should at least be able to take a girl out for something, you know, and pay for the first date at the minimum. Okay, well. So, yeah. Well, here's the deal. Caleb thought the date was great and he gave us a call. He did mention that. He did say that that had happened. He is on the other line.
