Carry over our discussion about Florida State because it's layered, it's nuanced, it's not as simple as we just need to spend more.

Obviously, I know there are restrictions.

I understand there are obstacles.

There are things that make that very difficult, and I get all of that. It's not a

zero-sum thing. It's something that we have to kind of highlight and discuss because I think that

there is room for multiple things to be true here, that Florida State is in a predicament.

They have some restrictions on what they can spend compared to some of the

top tier programs and what they're spending currently.

But I also think that it's, look, I'm not blind to the idea that one of the

reasons I believe they're screwed for the short term while going to be okay in the long

term, which is a good thing to think about when you're considering the short term while going to be okay in the long term, which is a good thing to think about when

you're considering the short term, is that A, they're going to get out of here, they're going

to end up in whatever the Super 2 looks like, and they're going to end up having like money,

because at that point, I believe there will be parameters put on what schools can spend and rules with real teeth for those that made it into the power too.

Until that time, this is still the Wild Wild West and the NCAA has been rendered impotent, useless.

Now, while all that can be true and we can't on par fight with a Texas or even an SMU currently in terms of roster buildup, money being spent on NIL, etc.

We don't have a multitude of billionaires who couldn't wait to give some of their money to the university to spend.

There is the other aspect, which is, and this is why I think even if you think he's the best

guy in the world, and I like Mike just fine, there is no personal vendetta that I have against
