0:10.0	Does the so-called constitutional right actually care about the Constitution in principle,
0:16.8	or do they only care about it to the extent that it's useful to their political goals?
0:22.1	Well, if you've been following American politics for, I don't know, many years, you know that
0:27.0	my belief is that it's the latter.
0:29.6	And Donald Trump has finally said the quiet part out loud when it comes to this.
0:33.1	Due process is optional and sometimes inconvenient.
0:37.1	The Constitution is often inconvenient. And courts
0:41.0	that disagree with him are extraordinarily inconvenient, wrong, and also cowards. This all has to do with
0:48.7	a new unhinged post to Donald Trump's social media platform, truth social. Donald Trump attacked the U.S. Supreme Court.
0:56.8	Notice that this is the very same Supreme Court that's stacked with numerous of his own nominees.
1:03.1	Even they are not willing to dismiss the law forcefully enough to Trump's satisfaction.
1:10.6	And the reason he's upset with them is because they are attempting to block some of the mass
1:15.2	deportations that Donald Trump is doing.
1:17.5	Now, Trump didn't just disagree with the one ruling narrowly.
1:22.5	He essentially said that the courts are too scared of the left to follow through with his completely
1:30.3	authoritarian immigration plans. Think of that for a moment. The most right-wing Supreme
1:36.5	Court in how long is afraid despite Trump having selected a third of that court and it being ideologically as
1:48.3	extremely right wing as we've seen in decades, they're too scared to do what Trump wants
1:54.6	them to do. Normal people who have a shred of humility and an iota of self-awareness would say, maybe I'm the problem.
