on a balls big wednesday hey i mentioned this yesterday should get it out there we always like to

throw out news of note even if it's not something that's going to be a prolonged conversation, especially because it's off-season. But it is the time a year where you would bring it up, and it is pertinent. And I actually think it's a good signing. We did get a signing. FSU basketball, continues to fill out there, continues to fill out their 20-23 roster. You guys remember Darren Green Jr., right?

You can remember him lighten us up for whatever that was, 20-something points, hitting

threes all over the place when UCF beat us here to end the winning streak? That kid, it's coming here.

It's going to be our guard, our point guard. And so via the transfer portal, we bring him in to

go along with Brown University's transfer forward,

Jalen Ganey. Green, by the way, is a tall guard at 6-5, big kid, and played three seasons with

UCF, started 66 of the 82 games while he was there, averaged over 13 points a game, shot over

40% from the field, shot over 40% from the field,

shot nearly 40% from 3. So, okay, I'll take all of that. I like it. He was third in the AAC in a three-point field goal percentage in his career. So you have a, you know,

the guy's kind of a volume perimeter shooter, but when he's right, he can do what he did against us and carry the day. So you've got the new transfer from Brown, this kid, and Cleveland as three of your lynch pins in your rotation for next year, and we'll figure out what the rest of the young guys want to do, like a Worley or a Butler. You know, those are still to be determined, and they just need to declare what they're going

to do, because that will help fill out the rotation. Then you kind of know what your baseline looks like. I know that there are other players, but these are the principal pieces that will help you improve, because I can't imagine that Cleveland's game won't improve drastically from year one to year two. Yeah, and that was big for him to come back, and you know how we feel about some of the other pieces.
