I'm Stuart Mandel, joined by Bruce Feldman, who believe it or not, is still on the road,

has not returned home even from that last podcast you heard last week.

Bruce, my first question would be, in any point in your journeys, have you had to take a united flight?

No, I have not.

I thought about that when I got on American Airlines.

Is it me, Stu, or do you think that, yes, that was United, but it wouldn't shock me if it was any one of the other major airlines.

I know, and I think that, you know, I'm now seeing stories where other, you know, other people are

emailing writers with their United horror stories, and I've read them, and I've think, yeah,

I'm not sure that's unique to United.

What is unique to United is how poorly they handled the PR of the first 48 hours and how unbelievably, how much that has probably set back that company. I thought in the, when I first came out, the video came out as awful as it was. I thought, well, there's one of these PR crises for an airline every couple weeks and then

everybody moves on to the next one.

But they handled it so poorly that I do think this is becoming something that people are going

to associate United with for a long, long time.

I made sure of that by including several references to it in Wednesday's mailbag.

But in all seriousness, where are you?

I am right now, I'm in the Woodlands, Texas, which is in north of Houston.

Didn't you have an awful situation with a rental car there once?

Not in the Woodlands, okay.

No, no.

The Woodlands, if I'm not mistaken, is I think where, like, Chance Mott was from.

That's when I first had heard of it.
