From the subreddit Southwest Airlines, a guy posts a picture of five empty seats.

It appears to be the exit row.

Says, I'm sorry, I'm just here to rant. Seven years of loyalty gone in just a few short months.

Having entire rows of empty seats and rows in the back empty and placing me and my companion

in separate middle seats even though I paid for premium seats and they couldn't move right

nope yeah that's happened to me when that southwest flight I took and then they're saying well

contact the company and get you baby we read read And then I'd like this comment here. It says, I'm kind of sick of having to waste my time dealing with fixing situations that companies themselves created. That's true. When did we as a society start to normalize companies treating people like their time and effort are worthless? Paid for something, and company decided not to give you what you paid for?

Why am I even spending one second of my time to fix that?

And the old situation, Todd, open seating, they could have moved anywhere.

So what happened to me, I told you, I was sitting in the aisle on a Southwest flight, I think last

time I was flying to Florida, I believe. I was sitting in the aisle of a Southwest flight and I'm

about row nine and there was a bunch of rows open in front of me and I I'm thinking, well, I want to look outside a little bit,

but I'm going to find an empty row and just sit by the window

so I could just relax, look outside and look at the window.

And I got up and moved about three rows up,

and the owl donkey brayed at me.

She's actually sweet.

She comes up.

She goes, I hate to be that person. I said, I'm allowed to move. She goes, no, you can't move up here. These are, these are premier seats. And I'm thinking, well, they're just seats. Mine is, I was literally two rows behind the seat. I said, well, it's empty. She goes, I know. I'm saying, okay, I'm sorry. Well, certainly other airlines do that, too.
